Star Trek Into Darkness..!

The Star Trek(2009) was undoubtedly a greatest adventure of young crew's maiden voyage  and its success was blessing and curse in disguise for the sequel. With the strong star caste, awe-inspiring trailers 'Star Trek Into Darkness' definitely becomes a can't miss movie. I felt movie should be titled 'Star Trek - Wrath of Khan', as a viewer i was expecting a sad ending as the movie was titled 'Into Darkness' but Abram like Happy Endings. So, we get to see some emotional moments with Pine being alive at the end.

The movie starts with confrontation between Kirk & Spock where both are resisting each other's ideas of violating rules of federation & friendship.
The plotting is broody and nonsensical, exhaustive & massive action scenes seemed like director has pulled a page out of the Michael Bay series. I found story a little non-coherent, jumbled, loosely patched with many voids and lacked definitive yet Abram managed to bring it to a happy ending with frantic moments & exciting gravity-defying fights.

Spock is half-Vulcan and too-much logical, while Kirk is hot-blooded and overdo off humanity, their friendship is kind of main stream of the story but yeah not in a cheesy 'b-romantic' way.
Cumberbatch was good as Khan, I really liked his logical war game with Spock, even if Spock got the better of him. It demonstrated him to be very intelligent and highlight his earlier claim that he was "better", as Khan had already demonstrated that he was a more physical force than Kirk.
The little touchy emotional 'cheesy' moments of Quinto with Zoe & Pine patches up a lot many lazy-cheats of Adram.
Pine and Quinto were good. The crew was in general fine, even if they didn't always have something to do.
In all a good enough sci-fi thriller to watch because of impressive people involved and their splendid work, yet with a heavy heart i would say it lacked J.J Abram's Glory.

Gippi "Over dose of Sweetness"

My name is 'Gurpreet Kaur' par pyaar se mere friends mujhe 'Gippi' bulate hain and ap bi mujhe 'Gippi' bula sakte ho."

Gippi is overweight, less talented, back bencher, crazy, a little confused, 14 year old gal, happy go-lucky, sweet, sugary gal, who loves eating sweets, happy with her friends, enjoys being with her nerd crushes, always tormented by her school mate "SHamira" & loves dancing to Shammi Kapoor's tunes

Yeah Shamira is a starved, dusky tip-top gal who is very studious yet wicked and wants to be best no matter what.

The story is about a normal gal who fell in love with a guy. He is smart, cool-dude and a High school student.
Just a second not exactly love but she is infactuated by the charm, charisma and hawwtness of the guy. Off-course as a gal you can truly relate your few feelings, acts and behavior to her. Wait!!! This is not over.

There's much more to it...The movie also talks about how this gal fights her own disappointments of being fat and not liked by everybody.  Fights against SHamira for head gal elections, makes things correct between her mom-dad. And finds her true love and true friends through this journey of 'Becoming Little Matured'.

It has some great punjabi peppy tracks and Samira's dead face dialect. Her brother 'Booboo' was really great and mom 'Pappi' was little non-digestible as compared to real life mom's.

In all a great movie and i personally felt, "I want to watch more 'Gippi' ..!!"

Shoot out at Wadala..!!

Story started with "Manohar aacha bachaa tha, Kabie shararat nai karta tha. Exam me copy nai karta tha, Gf ko bi copy nai karata tha. Bada hi honhaar baccha tha. Phir ek din kuch aisa hua ki - Sabkuch badal gaya"

Yes the movie talks about a normal student who is very ambitious and wanted to change the life of his family by studying hard and earning good marks in university exams but some weird things happened that changed everybody's life.
The story line is not very strong. Yeah in Indian Cinema we say "The story seems to be inspired by Once upon a time and Shoot out at Lokhandwala & some parts from Tollywood gangster movies".
The dialogues are very heavy. And too much jugalbandi which left me thinking, "No no no no not again, really..!!!"
The heavy-dose of dialogues makes the script more weaker.
Yeah i appreciate the actors, they have done really good job. And considering that it was John's his first movie as a Powerful playboy Gangster, he did fairly good. What i hated was, all the over-dozed screaming scenes of John.
Kangana needs to work more on her accent. Her "Main naa, Woh naa, Aisa hua naa" type dialogues makes her a little weak as a actress. She did justified her part more or less.
Anil Kapoor as a cop seemed almost same as what he did in "Nayak" .
Other actors including Monoj Bajpai were as always good and superb.
And the tracks or numbers or item numbers were also very unpleasing. Sunny Leone's jumping bumping body and skinny Priyanka both of them were looking pathetically useless.

According to me okay for a one time watch, but you can wait till they telecast it on TV
